This is Gart Williams, age thity eight, a man protected by a suit of armor held together by one bolt. Just a moment ago, someone removed, and Mr. Willaims's protection fell away from him and left him a naked target. He's been cannonaded this afternoon by all the enemies of his life. His insecurity has straddled him with humiliation, his deep rooted disquiet about his own worth has zeroed in on him, landed on target, and blown him apart. Mr.Gart Williams, ad executive, who in just a moment, will move into a desperate search for survival. He formed Next Stop Willoughby in 2005 and has shared stages with Anne Burns, Rich DePaulo, Rob Weinberger, Evie Sands, Adam Marsland and The Chaos Band, and many others. All three members are seasoned touring/recording musicians, have on occassion flirted with major labels, and Josh helped build the upstate New York music scene throughout the 1990s as publisher of The Music Press. Josh continues to observe and contibute to the music scene as part of the Muse Fest Magazine editorial team and as a contributor to NYWaste, an underground music monthly the New York Times called "the paper of record for the downtown scene". The members play a range of instruments and have a variety of musical tastes. The core players remain the same, although we have a roster of friends that play with us from time to time. We are always open to musicians who like this classic form of pop music and welcome inquiries so please email us if you like at nextstopwilloughby@stny.rr.com. All we ask is that they close their eyes and envision a better time and place. The next stop is Willoughby.
